12 Step Group Facilitators Family Ministry

Provide support to those struggling through various addictions through 12- steps format

New Family Escort Children

Escort visiting and new families to their children's classrooms and then escort the parents to the worship center. Assistance primarily needed during the 9:45 and 11:15 service times.

Family Nite Dinner Hospitality Children

Assist Linda Larson with reshelving supplies, filling glue and glitter bottles, sharpening pencils and any other necessary tasks for the MRC (Media Resource Center) in the Children's Ministry.

Kidz Check Assistant Children

Help check in children at Kidz Check during a Sunday service. Learn how to set up/take down Kidz Check operations. Greet families and escort new children to their classrooms and parents to the worship center.

Classroom Supply Assistant Children

Inventory classroom materials and resupply as needed. To be performed every two months, at the start of month, but hours are flexible and can be done at assistant's convenience.

Puppeteer or Host Children

Participate in puppet skits as a puppet character or show host in our nursery, preschool or grade school Sunday services. Rehearsals are required.

Tech Operator Children

Come and serve by providing tech in Body Shop and Tree House (our Children's Church venues). Experience is appreciated but not necessary. We can quickly train you on our equipment and have you ready to be a techie for God.

Special Events Assistant Children

Work with the Children's Ministry around special events performing administrative and support tasks including computer work, organization, craft preparation, etc.

Dramatic Performer Children

Be a part of our drama team. You will be memorizing short scripts and acting in a variety of venues for our children. This would include performing for grade school, preschool, and in one time events like Vacation Bible School. Rehearsals are required.

Patio Table Coordinator Children

Small Group Leader High School

Small group leaders have direct contact with students as they are leading small group discussions and mentoring high school students. Each small group leader has approximately 4-8 students in their group with whom they meet weekly. Many of our small group leaders have co-leaders to help share responsibilities.

Staff Shepherd High School

Staff Shepherd couples love and lead the small group staff. They have regular contact to encourage them and pray for them.

Prayer Team High School

This is a group of people who have a particular burden for the high school ministry and are dedicated to weekly prayer for the health and growth of the ministry.

Enrichment Class Social Coordinator Adult Enrichment

As part of the class leadership team, this person or couple helps the class plan and execute appropriate social events during the year.

Enrichment Class Leader Adult Enrichment

With others, leads, organizes and oversees an adult Sunday class. The role varies with each class, but the leader is the primary shepherd of the class. Does not generally teach the class.

Enrichment Class Teacher Adult Enrichment

Teaches an adult Sunday class on a regular or substitute basis using the Bible and biblical principles as the primary source. Must agree to the SBC statement of faith.

Helpful Hands Senior Adults

Helpful Hands volunteers reach out into our congregation and the community with their "do-it-yourself" skills, helping with those nagging little maintenance challenges that arise. They offer help, especially, but not exclusively, to widows and single mothers for such things as changing air filters, leaky faucets, changing high light bulbs, etc.

Hospital/Nursing Home/Rehad Center Visitation Volunteer Senior Adults

This ministry is designed to show God's love to all who need prayer, comfort, friendship and love in times of need, whether in the hospital, a rehab center or nursing home. Visitation training is provided so volunteers know just what to say and do. This is a special way to reach out to others.

Encore Choir Member Senior Adults

Sing the songs you have loved for years-- be part of Encore Choir. Remember "Blessed Assurance" and "Faith of Our Fathers"? Do those traditional favorites inspire you? Do you long to sing them more often? Join our informal singing group called "Encore". Our goal, first and foremost, is to enjoy ourselves, meet other lovers of these great pieces of music and have fun. We will be singing at special events, nursing homes, enrichment class functions, etc. But who knows? We may be making a musical debut at Sunday morning services as well? We will provide musical leadership and inspiration, but you will have a lot to say about our selections.

Hiking Club Coordinator Women

If you enjoy hiking why not be a Hiking Club Coordinator so new people visiting our church, or those attending who have not yet connected, can find a fun, friendly group of people to join for a hike. We want women to plan and lead hikes of different ability levels.

Hospitality Greeter Women

This is a special role where a women would be available to greet women on Sunday mornings and at our special women's and church wide events.

Correspondence Leader Women

Someone to cordinate people to write cards and letters to shut ins.

Classroom Design Women

Coming up with a decorating design for each classroom on campus and then building a team to implement vision with approval from Facilities.

Event Decorator Women

This is an opportunity for a woman to help decorate for key events throughout the year.

This is an opportunity to help plan events for our women's ministry.

Table Leader for Mid-week Bible Studies Women

The Women's ministry has a number of mid-week bible studies which use Table Leaders to lead discussions, pray and minister to the ladies at their table. Discussion questions will be supplied by the teacher.

Bible Study Administrator Women

The bible study administrator takes attendance, circulates the snack list and supports the Bible Study teacher while also attending the Bible Study class.

Tuesday Worship Choir Women

Join the women's worship choir. We lead the worship time each Tuesday morning before the bible studies.

Sunday Marriage Ministry Patio Table Host Marriage

Provide presence and warmth to those passing the Marriage Ministry Table on Sundays between services. Sign up for as many weeks (and services) as you desire to knowledgeably greet people between services. We'll keep you abreast of all our activities so you can help couples find the right Marriage Ministry venue for their needs.

Marriage Ministry Small Group Leaders Marriage

Train and lead/facilitate a small group DVD study (Love & Respect, Intimate Encounters, or Soul Healing Love) in your home during the week or on campus on Wednesday evenings. We ask for an 8-12 week commitment and to sit under one of our current leaders for one class. You will provide hospitality, leadership and fellowship for 4 to 6 couples.

Prepare/Enrich Relationship Inventory Reviewers Marriage

Train to become a couple who will spend 3 to 6 hours with a pre-marriage couple reviewing with them the relastionship inventory and assessment they have taken on-line as a part of the Marriage Prep class. One day Certification training is a pre-requisite.

Creative Publicity Marriage

Work with Don and Bonnie to create stunning publicity pieces that let the church and community know of the Marriage Ministry. Includes, web page development, publicity pieces, etc.

Table Mentor for Marriage Prep Class Marriage

The Marriage Prep class meets three times a year to help couples prepare for marriage. During this eight week class that meets on Sundays during the 3rd worship hour, you would be a table host for 2 to 4 couples and lead the discussions on the topics heard from our speaker that day. Commit to at least one 8-week session a year. No formal training is required, but it's helpful to first sit in for 8 weeks to observe.

Marriage 911 Partner Marriage

Couples in crisis need to ground themselves individually in their faith and healthy living. Become a 12 week Partner to a same gender individual who is struggling in their marriage. A workbook guides the struggling Christian, and as a Partner you provide follow-up, accountability and encouragement for them as they work through this study. You will meet one hour a week (or semi-weekly) for 12 sessions.

Marriage Investor Marriage

You'll be trained to become safe mentors to a couple and walk with them for a one year period, meeting about once every other month to encourage and share God's love and hope. Commitment includes a half day training, and quarterly get together with other Marriage Investors.

Marriage Crisis First Responders Marriage

You'll be trained to come along side a struggling couple and help them normalize the same sort of struggles you have already faced and survived in your marriage. This is not counseling. As a First Responder, you'll connect by phone with them within 18 hours and simply offer hope, and direct them to marriage resources. We ask that you?ll commit to two days a month to be available to retrieve calls from the message center and make calls to them.

Marriage Prayer Warrior Marriage

Pray for relationships in the church body, and that SBC marriages will become what God intended marriage to be. Pray for protection of those marriage in the Marriage Council, and that God will continue to use this ministry in a powerful way to stem the tide of divorce, and to help co-habiting couples to seek God's will for their lives. We'll give you the prayer requests of the team.

Wedding Coordinator Administrative Assistant Marriage

Weddings are a joyous time! Help our wedding coordinators with some of their organizational and adminsitrative needs to make the event less stressful for everyone. This position involves tidying the wedding storage closets and bridal party rooms at the Chapel on a periodic basis. Also help us update our recommended vendor lists to present to the bride.

Worship Orchestra Worship & Creative Arts

Praise Band Worship

Adult Worship Choir Worship

There are no auditions necessary to sing with the choir, just a love of the Lord and a desire to help people see Jesus through worship and the arts.

Prayer Partners Worship

Trained members of SBC to be at the front of the church or in hospitality room after each service to pray with and over anyone with a prayer need.

Creative Design Worship

Are you interested in designing and decorating visual space? Do you like to be creative, artistic and work with your hands? We have a small team of folks that create vignettes, stage designs and artwork for sermon series, special events and seasonal decor.

Craftsman Team Worship

This team is on call to assist in painting, constructing and hanging artwork for services and special events.

Writer/Editor Worship

Our SBC writer's group meets regularly to share creations and ideas for writing. We also have a team that is available to write articles for the Compass, conduct interviews and organize event publicity for the newspapers and radio stations.

Video Editor Worship

This job is for those who enjoy surfing the internet for images, videos and movie clips for service aids. It also may include making movies in movie software to fit specific themes and songs used in our services. Prior experience with movie making is required.

Children's Music Helper Worship

Our children's music program can always use leaders and helpers who have a heart for children. Our Traffic Jam program runs during the 11:15 service. We also have a variety of other performances that require extra supervision.

WC Set-up crew Worship

Assist the Worship Arts, Facilities, and Technical staff in setting up before and tearing down after services and events in the Worship Center and other campus venues as needed.

AM Service assistant Worship

Serving in the technical/soundboard area on Sunday mornings running the ProPresenter program (anything shown on the large screens) during worship and as well as powerpoint for the teaching pastor's message during all three services.

Rehab Center Worship Leader Worship

Plan, coordinate, and/or lead a short monthly worship service at Osborn Rehabilitation Center. Musical ability is helpful but not necessary.

Lay Counselor Counseling

The Lay Counseling Ministry exists for the purpose of providing both Scottsdale Bible Church and the community at large with Biblically trained Lay Counselors. Perhaps you have had people suggest you are a safe person who listens well. If so, consider becoming a Lay Counselor to minister to the spiritual and emotional needs of hurting people with Biblical truth in their times of concern, conflict and crisis. Current lay counselors share that providing lay counseling is truly a gift from the Lord. They find it a privilege to serve hurting people by being a “safe person” who listens well and challenges them to find hope, healing and restoration through the Word of God and trust in Him. Lay Counselors’ rewards are seeing God’s handprints on the lives of their counselees through answered prayer and healing.

Stephen Ministry Counseling

Stephen Ministry equips lay persons to provide distinctively Christian one-on-one care to those who are experiencing all kinds of life-needs and circumstances, both in our congregation and community. Stephen Ministers are committed Christian people who express God's love to the hurting.

Divorce Care Facilitators Counseling

Serve Scottsdale Bible and the Lord by reaching out to support men and women who are experiencing the pain of divorce or separation, perhaps being a DivorceCare facilitator may be for you. DivorceCare is a support group for those who are experiencing the pain of divorce or separation.

Divorce Care For Kids Helper Counseling

Helpers are needed for the DC4K ministry for children ages 5-12 who have been hurt by the separation or divorce of their parents. This very important ministry helps children learn how God

GriefShare Facilitator Counseling

This is a weekly support group for people who are grieving the death of someone close to them. The GriefShare experience includes three key elements that work together to guide your healing process: Video, small group discussion and the workbook. The focus of this ministry role is facilitation of weekly support group for those grieving the loss of a loved one.

Reading Tutor Special Ministries

Special Ministry/Outreach Ministry have a Learning Center that teaches reading and English as a second language. Tutors only need a love for people and know how to read. The software does most the work. Not only are you teaching reading you are building a relationship. The software eventually uses scripture; this is a great evangelism tool!

Volunteer Special Events Special Ministries

O.F.F. Nights "Our Fun Fridays" the first Friday of the month, Dances, Fall Night Fun in November, Nursing Home Visits (worship and crafts), Game Nights: we welcome help during the events or before with decoration, bring snacks, we really need ideas, and help with set up. Great fun!

SuperKids Teacher/Buddy Special Ministries

Young Life Capernaum Special Ministries

Opportunity for helpers to attend camp at Lost Canyon for High School kids with mental and physical disabilities. Summer and winter camps are held.

Young Life Capernaum Leaders Special Ministries

Attend weekly Wrangler club meetings and befriend the young adults with special needs of Young Life Capernaum in Phoenix. David Thames heads up this wonderful ministry.

RFKC Camp Leader Special Ministries

Royal Family Kids Camp Leader: a week in the summer at camp with kids from abusive/neglected homes. These kids are in foster care and adoptive families now. For a week you love on these kids and patiently listen to their stories. Camp is filled with fun worship times, skits and browsing the camp grounds with animals that also came from abused or neglected homes.

Thursday Night Live Buddy Special Ministries

During our Bible Study lesson students need encouragement and help reading. Some students have to be quieted down or support sharing their thoughts. All of our group love hugs and attention!

Camp Admin/Buddies Special Ministries

Organizing paperwork (registration forms), coordinating with campsite - Whispering Hope Ranch, tour bus, t-shirt company and purchasing items needed. At camp: we always need buddies (1-1 and 1-2 ratio) to have fun and keep campers safe!

Photographer for SOMA events SOMA

This person will need to join somanorth for the majority of our social and service events. (We have one social event and one service event every month.) We want someone to take pictures of the event that we can use for our Facebook page and other publicity. Minor photo edits preferred before submitting pictures to us.

Mission Team Leader SOMA

Somanorth sends out several mission trips each year, and we need faithful and responsible leaders to take these teams out to the mission field each year. This leadership role has several important responsibilities including overseeing the spiritual health of the team, raising financial support, administrative tracking of travel details, and training the team for the work they will complete. Candidates for this position ought to have had previous experience on short-term mission trips.

Men's Disciplers SOMA

This role will help guide and instruct other men in Jesus' teachings and train them to in the faith. The goal is to help men imitate Jesus. These one-on-one relationship will use the "Real Faith" curriculum as a foundation for discussions and topics.

Homegroup Leader SOMA

A home group leader will lead the people of his/her group in growing in their faith. A home group leader will look after the souls of the people in his/her group. This includes facilitating discussions on Bible topics, guiding the members into prayer, and possibly teaching a lesson from the Bible.

Worship Team SOMA

Worship through musical is a very important aspect of somanorth. We are always looking for talented and experienced instrumentalists and vocalists to help lead the congregation into the presence of God through music.

Creative Team SOMA

At somanorth, we are constantly looking for creative elements to help us experience God during our worship service. This role will work with the Pastor of Young Adults to come up with creative ideas during worship time. Creative elements that we have done include special prayer times, adding artistic creations like paintings or videos, and group discussions.

Tech Team Member SOMA

There are several technical roles during our Sunday evening worship service. We need people to help operate the lights, sound, and PowerPoint slides. No expertise is needed; we can train you for these simple tasks in little time.

Service Team Coordinator SOMA

Somanorth has the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus through our service events. We need some volunteers to help us find opportunities to serve as well and coordinate the details such as time, place, and number of volunteers needed for each event. This person will also help promote the service event at somanorth and recruit volunteers.

Social Team Coordinator SOMA

Somanorth helps to build a sense of community by offering many different social events. We do monthly social events as well as several retreats per year. We need help planning these events. Planning will include brainstorming activities, making reservations, cost considerations, and promoting the event with the congregation.

Graphic Designer SOMA

Somanorth is constantly developing new logos, graphics, and editing pictures for use in our ministry. We need someone who has a talent and ability to design and produce publicity materials for somanorth. These items will include graphics for bulletins, logos for sermon series, and editing pictures for our Facebook page.

Videographer and Editor SOMA

Somanorth is constantly looking for creative ways of communicating with our congregation. One way we would like to communicate to our congregation is through videos during our Sunday night service. These videos could be testimonies, announcements/promotions, or summaries of social/service events. This role could also include video recording the sermons, editing them, and uploading the message to our website.

Prayer Team Member SOMA

The prayer team gathers weekly before our worship service to pray for our ministry. We are looking for prayer warriors to be part of this team. In addition to the prayer time, members will take note of items for which to pray.

Homegroup Host SOMA

Host a home Bible group in your house. This is not a leader position, but a hospitality position. Our groups meet either weekly or bi-weekly depending on the group. This position will provide a warm, comfortable environment for a group of 8-15 young adults, and possibly refreshments.

Set-Up/Take-Down for Somanorth Worship Service SOMA

Somanorth shares the high school room with other ministries; thus, we need some help preparing the room for our worship service before it starts. These tasks include setting up chairs, moving tables, and organizing supplies. In addition, this volunteer will occasionally need help after service putting chairs away and breaking down the stage.

Administrative Help SOMA

We need help with some simple office work. These administrative tasks for somanorth include items such as copying, cutting, laminating, and data entry.

Shopper for Ministry Needs SOMA

somanorth and some of the other ministries at SBC need things purchased for ministry on a weekly or periodic basis. These include such things as food from Smart and Final or similar stores, paper goods from party stores, and even things like lamps and rugs from Savers and other thrift stores. We are looking for someone who loves to shop, find bargains, look for objects that are sometimes hard to find, and has up to 2 hours each week or every other week. This would be a blessing not only to the ministries but to the staff who now have to take time away from other important duties to shop. All purchases will be paid for by the ministries.

Women's Discipler SOMA

This role will help guide and instruct other women in Jesus' teachings and train them to in the faith. The goal is to help women imitate Jesus. These one-on-one relationship will use the "Real Faith" curriculum as a foundation for discussions and topics.

Video Camera Operator - I Mag AVL/Tech

Responsible for operating Camera 1 in either all three Sunday AM services or the 5PM service. Camera 1 is responsible for producing the I-Mag image that is on the screens in the Worship Center and streamed to the eleven10 service in the High School Building.

Video Editor AVL/Tech

Uses volunteer editing station and Final Cut Pro software to edit video programs to meet the needs of SBC ministries (e.g. Worship, Outreach, Youth Ministries, etc.)

Audio Set-upTechnician AVL/Tech

Assists SBC staff and other volunteers in setting up and/or breaking down the equipment needed to support the various Worship Teams in the Worship Center, Town Center and High School. Specific tasks include wrapping audio cables, patching stage mics into floor boxes, setting microphone stands, monitors, moving audio equipment (amps, keyboards, drums, risers, etc).

Audio Engineer AVL/Tech

Provides front-of-house sound mixing that meet ministry needs. Majority of initial work will be in the support of ministry programs held outside of the Shea Worship Center (e.g. Town Centre, Chapel, Club 56, E105). Position may also be asked to provide audio engineering support for special events including weddings, memorials, conferences, dinners, etc. Training will be provided.

Lighting Console Operator AVL/Tech

Responsibilities range from triggering pre-programmed light cues during a Worship Service to learning how to program, edit, add and delete light cues on either a Hog 1000 or Hog 500 console. In addition, this position may be asked to assist SBC staff in the servicing, placing and focusing of theatrical lights in the Worship Center catwalks. Training will be provided.

Video Camera Operator - Production AVL/Tech

Responsible for serving as a member of an SBC "on location" crew which may include setting up portable lighting, audio, sets, as well as being one of the videographers on the project. Prior experience using broadcast quality cameras and tripods is desired. Additional training on the characteristics of specific equipment will be provided.

Writer Communication/HR

In cooperation with the First Serve Coordinator, meet with departments to find out their writing needs, i.e., for Compass, brochures, website, blog, etc. As needed, interview persons to gather information to support a written piece. Work within timelines needed for the Communication Office to meet print and website deadlines. Past experience preferred.

Graphic Design Communication/HR

In cooperation with the First Serve Coordinator, meet with departments to find out their graphic design needs, i.e., for Compass, brochures, website, blog, etc. Work within timelines needed for the Communication Office to meet print and website deadlines. Proficiency of one or more of the following required: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark.

Human Resources Advisory Team Member Communication/HR

Meet monthly or bi-monthly with the established SBC Human Resources Team to provide regular audits and establish new protocol to provide best practices, protect staff and minimize risk. HR experience required.

Help us keep our light shining brightly! We use lots of light bulbs at SBC, and periodically they need changing. This is a great role for an individual or for families who would like to serve together. Flexible schedule.

First Responder Facilities

Join the safety and security team as a First Responder during Sunday worship services! The First Responder is a licensed or previously licensed (ie: retired) health care provider (MD, DO, NP, PA, RN, LPN, Firefighter, EMT, etc.) who is willing to check in with facilities prior to the service and wear a headset during service. The First Responder will simply be available, as needed by the safety and security team, in the event of an injury or health-related emergency.

Volunteer Painter Facilities

Periodically our facilities on campus need painting and touch-ups. Help us keep SBC looking fresh by donating your time and energy on an occasional basis.

Greeters are stationed around campus to offer warm smiles, friendly greetings, and a handshake to all guests and regular attendees. Greeters provide guests with directions to different buildings and facilities as needed. Greeters continue to greet late-comers until the flow of arrivals trickles to just a few.

Safety and Security (First Impressions Team) Connection

The Safety and Security ministry exists to ensure the safety and security of our congregation. Safety and Security members vigilantly patrol our campus. They assist First Responders with any medical incidents. They address any threat or potential threat in order to protect our congregation.

Information Circle (First Impressions Team) Connection

Scottsdale Bible is a large campus with many ministries, enrichment classes and events going on every week. The amount of activity on our campus can be overwhelming for regular attendees and can be especially so for our guests. Information Circle members are friendly faces who are very well informed about everything that is going on at Scottsdale Bible so they are well equipped to provide helpful information as needed. They answer a wide variety of questions from guests and regular attendees regarding items seen in Compass, bulletin, service slides or website. They are also able to locate resources as needed.

Guest Services (First Impressions Team) Connection

Guest Services ministry exists to help guests feel welcome, comfortable and appreciated and to help them get connected into our church family as quickly and effortlessly as possible. They welcome our guests at the Guest Services counter with a warm smile and a friendly greeting. They provide first time guests Welcome Packets. They inform guests of our next Starting Point Guest Event and register them to attend. They answer basic questions about what our church has to offer to meet their individual needs. Ushers provide a valuable service that allows the worship service to flow smoothly while this organized team handles the critical behind the scenes details associated with the offering and communion. Ushers handle collection of the weekly offering in an organized and efficient manner. Ushers also handle the distribution of and collection of communion supplies during communion services with the same efficiency.

Communion Tray Cleanup (First Impressions Team) Connection

On Monday mornings following Communion Sunday, a small group meets for a couple of hours to clean the communion trays and reload them with cups in preparation for the following month.

Host (First Impressions Team) Connection

Hosts welcome our guests and regular attendees and provide for their needs as they would for people in their own home. A host smiles, welcomes everyone who enters our worship center and hands everyone a bulletin. The host helps people locate seats. Hosts also support our Safety and Security volunteers in the case of an emergency.

First Responder (First Impressions Team) Connection

First Responders are volunteers that take on call shifts on Sundays. These volunteers are primarily doctors, nurses, EMTs and firefighters. Their basic purpose is to aid in life-threatening situations until paramedics can arrive on campus. First Responders can also respond campus-wide to a variety of medical situations, including scraped knees, dehydration, and heart attacks.

Financial Counselor Financial Stewardship Ministry

Join a group of volunteers who schedule appointments with adults who are asking for wisdom in handling their daily finances. Applicants are pre-screened for suitability for counseling (a job, willingness to participate, etc). Usually the financial counselor meets three times with the applicant and helps them with a budget and making basic decisions about money. Single moms are the typical persons asking for wisdom. Also can join the monthly financial ministry meeting. No expertise required, just good sense about money.

Stewardship class teacher Financial Stewardship Ministry

Join the financial ministry and learn how to teach our CROWN classes, the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University class or the Treasure Principle class, all dealing with biblically based stewardship of resources. You take the classes and if you want to help, you can be one of our teachers of future classes. No deep biblical knowledge required, but should be committed to God's plan for money.

Steward of the Day Financial Stewardship Ministry

This person joins the volunteer team that administers and helps distribute the Elders' Fund to needy people. Each Steward of the Day is assigned a 4 hour shift during the week, at your convenience. Appointments are scheduled by the church and you meet with applicants and recommend the financial help we should provide. Guidelines exist to help you with recommendations. This job is a great blessing.

Financial or Other Expert Financial Stewardship Ministry

This is not a job but rather an opportunity to make your expertise available to the church in a serving or advisory capacity. We are blessed in our congregation with attorneys, CPAs, financial advisors, development specialists, budget or loan experts, insurance specialists, HR people, accountants, executives and other folks who have knowledge useful to the elders and the church. Child Care for Refugee Children Local Outreach

Do you love children? We need caring and compassionate people to watch children ages 2-5 years on Tuesdays and/or Thursday's from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.while thier parents are in English class. The families are refugees from the war-torn country of Burma (Myanmar). This is an SBC ministry. You will be blessed by these children and thier parents!

Short-term Team Support - Finances International Outreach

This individual would help count and record team contributions for individual teams heading out specifically April-August. The individual would need to count and record all checks and cash received from teams at the church office on individual team spreadsheets.

Short-term Team leaders develop, organize, and lead teams of individuals overseas to various locations on mission teams. Tour de New River Event Lead Coordinator International Outreach

This individual would take the lead in organization on the annual Tour de New River Bike and Hike Event held in November to raise funds for our projects in Tanzania, Africa. Planning the event, leading team meetings, contacting churches, preparing registrations, and gather day of event supplies are a few of the main responsibilities for this position.

Tour de New River Committee International Outreach

The committee for the Tour de New River Bike and Hike Event are responsible to come up with new ideas and plans for the annual Tour de New River event in November. The committee helps the Event Lead Coordinator with all details leading up to the event. This may involve administration details, research on quotes and prices, attending once a month or bi-monthly meetings, and other tasks associated with getting the event up and running.

Event Support for Tour De New River International Outreach

This individual would help on the Day of the Event for the Tour de New River Event as a volunteer. The event takes place the first weekend of November from 6am-12pm. Volunteers help set up, run registration table, provide SAG support, man pit stops, help with the family lunch/picnic, and help tear down after the event is over.

Missionary Furlough Research and Support International Outreach

This individual would help research and meet the needs for furlough families when they come off the field. This would involve researching housing, car loans, and other details to make the missionaries time visiting enjoyable and to have all of their logisitical needs met. It would also include searching out folks that could provide babysitting, medical services, home care, meals, etc at a discounted or free rate for our missionaries. These names would be added to our Missionary Service Needs List and be given to our missionaries when they arrive in AZ on their furlough.

This individual would coordinate the preparation and details to accompany a welcome home basket for our missionaries when they come home on furlough. The individual would help make cookies, muffins, gather candies, etc to make a nice welcome home gift.

If you currently serve in a Preschool classroom, we are not asking you to do both roles. The Coach role would be your main responsibility. Here are the details… (1) You would serve every other Sunday. (2) You would oversee a team of 15-20 3’s classroom leaders or a team of 15-20 4’s/5”s Classroom Leaders. (3) You would help shepherd, communicate, and connect with these leaders. (4) You would check on classrooms during the hour that you serve. (5) Help visiting families children get placed in the correct classes. (6) Attend Preschool leadership meetings a few times a year. (7) You could serve as a couple or serve individually.

KidzChek Technician Information Technology

This position will be trained to operate, trouble shoot and manage the computer/Shelby based online check-in system used in children's ministry. Duties may include setting up the terminals, testing printers, trouble shooting problems and working with parents and staff to ensure accurate check-ins occur for the AM and PM services.
