Launching Sunday, September 27, 2026 | 4pm | Shea
We're growing, and we're making room for it! This fall, we're launching a third Sunday service at our Shea campus to create space for the people God is bringing our way. You're invited to join the mission and open your Sunday morning seat so that someone new can feel included and welcome!
Join us for live worship, kids programs, powerful teaching, and the full experience you'd expect from any of our campuses, now at a time that works for you.
This service is a great fit for:
Families whose students are already involved in Sunday night YTH programs
Young adults and working professionals who travel, work, or simply don't run on a morning schedule
Anyone looking for a fresh way to connect and grow in community
Come help us build something from the ground up this fall. New service, same mission, and plenty of room for you.

We’re growing and God is moving! As we carry out our calling to be unleashed on our city, we want to make space to welcome new people to our church family. At Shea, we anticipate that both our 9am and 11am services will be at least 90% full this fall, so rather than having new guests go to an overflow space, we want them to find a seat. We’re on a mission to reach more people who need the hope that Jesus offers, and a third service will give us space to welcome them!

Sunday 4pm services at Shea will begin on September 27, 2026.

We already have families coming on Sunday nights for YTH programs, and this give them a chance to attend a service with their student(s) and get to know other parents afterwards. We also know weekends can be busy for many individuals and families, and a 4pm service opens new opportunities to engage with church and in community as part of your weekend rhythm. Maybe you work on Sunday mornings and have been joining us online; or you like to sleep in on Sundays after a long week; and you have travel, family, sports, or other commitments that interfere with attending a morning service. A 4pm service is a great new option for you and for new people who may have more flexibility to attend then.
-
Yes! Your children (ages birth through 5th grade) will still experience the same amazing Kids programming we offer at our morning services. Youth in grades 6-12 will meet at their regular time on Sunday nights at 5pm.
-
All worship will be live with the same music and media elements as on Sunday mornings. Your campus pastor will also there to engage with you at all services. Most weeks, we will enjoy a high-quality video recording of the teaching on a large LED screen, just like at our other four campuses.
-
We’re still making plans, but hope to have gatherings around food on select Sundays to help build community and allow you to connect with other families after the service. Stay tuned for more details!

There are benefits for you and your family, benefits for your church, and most importantly, benefits for the people in our community who haven’t yet joined us!
Benefits to you:
A new service time can fit your busy weekend schedule, especially if you travel or have work or other conflicts.
An afternoon service accommodates relaxed mornings at home, family events, sports, or other plans that might prevent joining a Sunday morning service.
Attending at 4pm gives you a chance to grab dinner with friends or other families after the service and build community.
If you’re a family with teens, you can find community with others in the same life stage.
Benefits to your church:
You will help your church grow to reach more people.
You’ll have more flexibility to serve on Sunday mornings and still attend a service.
You’ll help reduce the church’s need for overflow locations.
Benefits to new guests:
New visitors won’t have as much trouble finding seats or a parking spot on Sunday mornings.
Late arriving new guests will feel more welcome instead of being asked to sit in an overflow space.
You’ll have a new service time to invite your friends to, especially those who have Sunday morning plans or commitments.
Studies show that services that are more than 80-85% full will not be able to grow, so you’ll contribute to reaching more people in our community who need Jesus.

We’re so glad you asked!
Please pray for the logistics, the people, and the plans. Ask God if He would have you move to 4pm to make space at our 9am and 11am services.
Consider joining one of our volunteer teams in kids ministry, hospitality, production, worship, or another area.
Tell your friends and neighbors. More seats mean more chances to invite others!
