Cultivating a community of worshipers inspired by and engaged in God's manifest presence, thereby displaying to the world that God is worthy of praise.
We are a community of musicians, singers, and creatives pursuing one thing: bringing glory to God. He has given us abundant gifts and it is our aim to use them to worship Him and to inspire others to do the same.
Our team is made up of several musical and artistic ensembles ranging from rock bands and string quartets to our visual arts team that creates spaces that inspire us to reflect on the beauty of Christ and the grand story of redemption we are called to live out. Below you will find more information on the teams, and how you can get involved! Click the link to meet the staff.

Ways to Get Involved
Worship Band
We believe that any activity done with a heart to honor God and enjoy His presence becomes worship. Each campus and venue has rotating teams comprised of a variety of musicians that strive to do this through music. Our heart is to facilitate the services with excellent music so as to provide the easiest on-ramp for people to connect with God as well as to communicate to God that He is worthy of it all!
Are you a musician or singer looking to get involved in one of our campus bands? Just click the link below, fill out the form and we can send you everything you need to get started!
-
Choir
The choir is open to singers of all ages as they help lead the congregation into worship and by offering inspiring featured anthems during the service. Whether singing a cappella or accompanied by a full orchestra, the choir serves to lift up our great God and encourage the Body of Christ!
-
Orchestra
We believe that God's praise is made more glorious, and our experience of it is enriched, when expressed through a variety of instrumentation, as is commanded in the Psalms. Whether you play Brass, Strings, Woodwinds or Percussion, this team of musicians is always open to the addition of a diversity of talents.
-
Creative Arts
This team captures the imagination, inspiring deep reflection through compelling images that are both tactile and observational. From paintings and poems to interactive experiences and sculptures, they utilize every artistic medium to help create moments of worship.
-
YTH Worship
We believe that any activity done to honor God and enjoy His presence becomes worship. In each YTH ministry, we have rotating teams made up of a variety of musicians that strive to do this with their music. Our heart is to facilitate the services with excellent music so as to inspire people to connect with God and express that He is worthy of all our praise!

Whether you’ve been a Christ-follower for decades or are new to faith in Jesus, Rooted is for you! It’s a 10-week experience with both large and small group discussions where you’ll discover and practice seven helpful rhythms for life as a follower of Jesus. It’s unlike anything you’ve experienced before and will take your relationship with God to a new level as you apply what you learn in community with others. Each 10-week session concludes with a special dinner where groups from all campuses come together to celebrate what God did through Rooted.
-
Rooted is the best place to get into small group community at SBC. Your group will be prayerfully formed based on information from your registration, often based on life stages and other common factors. After you complete Rooted, our hope is that your group will continue to meet together. We encourage everyone to go through Rooted before joining an ongoing group.
-
You can join Rooted with your existing group or be placed in a new group with others who are similar to you in life stage and other factors. Let us know your preference on your registration.
-
Most people will attend the Kickoff Night at the Shea campus and then experience weeks 2-10 in a group that meets at their campus. Some groups that already meet at other times/days may experience weeks 2-10 at a convenient time that fits their schedule. Others may opt to experience Rooted within the rhythm of their existing group. Ideally, all groups that have completed weeks 2-10 will join us for the celebration event at the end of Rooted to recount what God did in their lives.
-
Once registration is open for the upcoming session, you can sign up below. The fee is $40 per person which includes all sessions, your workbook and materials, and the celebration dinner at the end of Rooted. You’ll get your book at the Rooted Kick-off the first week of the session. Please email us at rooted@scottsdalebible.com if you are unable to participate because of finances.
-
For the best Rooted experience, we recommend you engage as fully as you can. The 10 weeks build upon each other, and you and your group will get the most out of Rooted by attending every week. If you know you will miss more than two meetings, we suggest you join us for our next session.
-
Yes, childcare is offered at each campus! Look for the option to register in the confirmation email that you will receive after you complete your Rooted registration.
