Bunk Bed Build
Saturday, October 24 | 8-11:30am | Sleep in Heavenly Peace Workshop (near Sky Harbor Airport at 51st St. & Washington)
Looking for a meaningful way to serve? Join us as we partner with Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) to build bunk beds for vulnerable families. SHP’s mission is simple: No kid sleeps on the floor in our town.
We’ll cut, sand, stain, and prep the bunk-bed wood together at SHP’s air-conditioned facility—no experience needed! Snacks and drinks will be provided.
Adults preferred; minimum age of 12.

Bunk Bed Delivery
Monthly Saturdays, August 15, September 19, October 17, November 21, December 19 | 7:30am-12pm
Help deliver and assemble bunk beds for local families, giving children a safe, comfortable place to sleep. Working alongside a team leader, you'll assemble beds onsite, including mattresses, sheets, and pillows, while connecting with the families you serve. No special skills are needed—just a willingness to help.
You can volunteer as many Saturdays as fit your schedule. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old, and youth under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Drivers with trucks are especially needed.

Operation Christmas Child

Fill a shoebox and change a life!
You can share the hope of Jesus with a child across the world by picking up a shoebox at Cactus, Fountain Hills, North Ridge, Shea or Tempe, filling it with small gifts, and returning it by November 22.
You can also pack a shoebox online! With just a few clicks, you can select toys and other fun items you’d like to include and personalize your gift with your own letter and photo. OCC will pack the gift for you and send it on its way for a suggested donation of just $30.
Volunteer Opportunities
We need you! There are three important ways you can volunteer to help with Operation Christmas Child.
Distribute and collect OCC Shoeboxes outside your campus worship center on Sundays, November 8, 15 and 22.
Help with National Collection Week in the Scottsdale Bible Shea south parking lot on various dates starting Monday, November 16.

North Ridge Packing Party
Friday, November 13 | 8am-11am
Saturday, November 14 | 9am-1pm
Join us as we pack 850 OCC shoebox gifts for children in more than 100 countries around the world. The empty boxes and gift items to fill them will be provided, but we are seeking additional donated items like toothbrushes and small toys (cars, etch-a-sketch, games, marbles). At the party, you’ll have the option to cover shipping costs and track where your shoebox is sent. We will be limiting the size of the group, so sign up soon. Pre-registration is required.

If you attend our Cactus, Fountain Hills, North Ridge, or Tempe campuses, feel free to bring your shoeboxes to your campus by Sunday, November 22.
Shoeboxes may also be dropped off at the drive-through tent at the Scottsdale Bible Shea campus south parking lot (7601 E. Shea Blvd., Scottsdale) on the following dates:

Gifts For Kids

Get ready to share the joy and hope of Christmas with children in our community!
We’re continuing our holiday tradition of joining with local ministry partners to make the season merry and bright for foster children and families. Gifts will be collected at our campuses and presented at special events this December.
Join Our Volunteer Team!
Scottsdale Bible’s campuses are coming together to purchase gifts for foster children and families in our communities. You can serve at your local campus October 26 – December 10 by helping collect, sort, and wrap gifts.
Note: Our North Ridge and Tempe campuses are focusing their efforts on Operation Christmas Child this year.
Cactus | Desert View Elementary
Scottsdale Bible Cactus is partnering with Desert View Elementary School to provide gifts for students who are in need this Christmas. Desert View Elementary is a Title 1 partner school near our Cactus campus where we volunteer throughout the year.
Fountain Hills | Gigi's Cottage
Scottsdale Bible Fountain Hills is partnering with Gigi’s Cottage to provide gifts for the girls and items for the home. Gigi’s Cottage is a family-centered home for nine girls (ages 9-17) who are in the Arizona foster care system. The vision is to provide a safe Christian home that promotes healing and connection, while giving the community opportunities to serve.
Shea | Royal Family Kids Camp and Harvest Compassion
Scottsdale Bible Shea is partnering with Royal Family Kids Camp to provide gifts for 100+ Arizona foster children, ages 7-11, who attend their summer camps and monthly mentor clubs. The camps are designed to give neglected children a week of memories and life-changing moments in a Christian environment. Campers will be invited to a Christmas party hosted by Scottsdale Bible and Firm Foundation Youth Homes on December 5 where they will receive their gifts. We are also partnering with Harvest Compassion Center to support their annual Christmas Toy Drive and distribution program to provide brand-new toys, blankets, and teen gift cards for 100+ local children in low-income households.
Finding Your Place in Foster Care and Adoption

Everyone has a place in foster care and adoption—come find yours!
Join us at this exciting event where you’ll explore the multitude of ways you can make a difference in addressing the foster care needs in our state. Whether it’s donating diapers, lending support to foster families, or even considering becoming a licensed foster caregiver yourself, there’s a place for everyone to contribute.
Learn all about Gigi’s Cottage and other foster care community partners, and find out how you can get involved as a volunteer. Childcare will be provided, along with some delicious light snacks. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to be a part of something truly impactful and rewarding!
