Growth Classes

Core Classes are for everyone! Whether you have questions about God and the Bible, are checking out the Christian faith, or have been a follower of Jesus for many years, these classes will give you reasonable answers about essential Christian beliefs and a strong foundation to build upon.

You will hear an overview of God’s plan for His creation and you, what happened that necessitated the Law and sacrificial system, why Jesus came, and how we can know Him personally and grow as His followers.

Core classes can be taken in any order, and it’s best to take all four so you can gain a full understanding of what you believe and how to communicate it. Beyond these classes, we also offer electives called Growth Classes where you can fuel your growth in specific areas and learn more about God and His Word.

Core 01: Essentials

What is the Gospel? Where did the Bible come from, and how should we read it? Why do we believe what we believe? What is the purpose of baptism? These are essential questions that every Christian tackles in their faith. Knowing our beliefs and how they came to be matters. We will cover these crucial doctrines and many more to help you learn, understand, discuss, and apply essential Christian doctrines. Join us for a fun and enriching season of growth!
Core 02: Beginnings

Who is God? How did we come to be? Why is there suffering in the world? Why can’t we get to heaven on our own? Have you ever wondered about these questions? In this class we will cover these topics and many more to help you learn, understand, discuss, and apply biblical wisdom. Join us for a fun and enriching season of growth!
Core 03: Redemption

The cornerstone of Christianity, and of everything, is Jesus Christ. He is our Savior, King, Prophet, and ultimate Redeemer. The depth of what He has done for humanity is profound, and understanding how He impacts each person, believers and non-believers alike, has eternal implications. In this class we will learn who Jesus is, how He redeemed humanity, what that means, and how the free gift of grace impacts us daily. Join us for this four-week class and learn more about the Person who is the core of our Christian faith.
Core 04: Restoration

Living the Christian life is often challenging and exhausting. But, through living in step with the Holy Spirit, pursuing the practices Jesus showed us, and purposely taking steps of faith toward God, we can finish the race well. This class will help you walk away with a plan to engage God more fully. We hope you will join us in this pursuit.
